All these are great tips! I have one concern, though, in the effect that you said (or asked), ” Why would God allow children to die?” I’d like to discuss a little bit about this. The answer I have discovered for this is because of the result of sin. Children, as you know, are like sponges. They absorb and imitate anything they put their minds to–whether good or bad. It all depends who is leading them. That’s why parents have such an important job, which is to help their children grow, to help them cultivate good habits that will benefit themselves and others. You see, much of the crimes that are committed today are due to the lack of self-control that should’ve been taught at home. Anway, what I want to say is, children are sinful by inheritance. What do I mean by this? Well, let’s take a look at what Paul says in the book of Romans:
Romans 5:14
19. For as through the one man’s (Adam’s) disobedience many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the one ( that is, Jesus) will many be made righteous.
So as we understand, God has prepared a way for us to be reconciled to Him. Jesus, the express image of God, had lived a life of obedience, thus giving us an example to follow.
John 1334. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, just like I have loved you; that you also love one another.35. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
This love will go contrary to the nature of humans, which is selfishness. This trait is even evident in the smallest of children. he same is true for adults. Such condition calls for a change of heart and motive.
“Create in me a clean heart, God. Renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10.) This was the prayer of the one (David) who recognized his sinful state and desired that God give Him a new way of living.I may have wandered a bit off topic, but as you can see, if rightly understood, the word of God can be likened to a chain who portions are linked together perfectly.

George! How about doing a shared livestream with Tim Doner about language learning?
Hello George. I’m a spanish native speaker and I had a quite of a trouble in terms of time and effort to learn English when I was younger. Now I´m learning Japanese and Portuguese. I was into Indonesian but I quit. I hope you get to make some course on Chinese and Arabic too!
I’ve found your general approach to learn a language is kind of the best. From I’ve seen in your videos you start from basic things (and perhaps the most frequent things we used in daily life), introducing new concepts, and as you advance learning, trying to only use what you already learned. That with a spicy and funny atmosphere that catch my attention up and make the experience enjoyable. Keep it up!!
But i should emphasize two things:
1) To keep in mind what your goal is and your motivation to personalize your learning. For example, I quit learning Indonesian because I break up with an half indonesian girlfriend.
2) The path depends on the languages you already master. For example, in my case, Japanese is very diferent from Spanish and English so the general approach is better. But when I´m learning Portuguese, because it is so similar to Spanish, I’ve found that learning first grammar at advance level, some key connection words and false friends, make me so easy to read intermediate to advance Portuguese texts with a dictionary and I can learn it much faster.
#10 is important. I took some similar advice when I started learning Korean and it’s made a big difference. It’s a bit difficult trying to figure out how exactly to practice Kanji in a way that is efficient and lasting but fighting the urge to focus on the trivial Kanji has lead me to improve my Japanese vocab at a decent rate. It’s also helped me to figure out a Kanji learning method that seems to be working for me.
