These Anime Heroes Are Jerks – Dragon Ball, Conan, InuYasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo!
WHY????!!!!!!!!(I LIVE IN MALAYSIA!)
Anime is so overrated shit. Do you want your children to watch Anime and later find out this category of animation comes from a brutal country who denies its role in WW2 to this day? There are better quality stuff on Netflix nowadays. Case in point, Prius are overrated shit too
I’m Singaporean…. ps dont

Why not real bane
I’m not happy saying this, but I think it might actually be in effect. (I live in Malaysia BTW) This year I was excited to watch 3 new anime movies that were coming out (Detective Conan movie 22, Servamp movie, Bungo Stray Dogs movie). However, I could never watch them in the cinema because they were shown in only 4 or 5 cinemas in the ENTIRE country and weren’t in my area. I don’t have a drivers license yet, so I’d have to ask my parents to drive us to the cinema. I never asked them about these specific movies since it’d be a hassle to drive all the way to another state just to watch a movie. I’ve hardly seen any anime movie ads on tv anymore. I think the last anime movie I managed to watch is the I Choose You! Pokemon movie.
I wouldn’t mind not watching the movies in a cinema as long as there is the cd release, if they even allow a cd release anymore. Detective Conan movie 22 was supposed to be shown in Malaysia somewhere around April this year. Usually it would take around 4 months for a cd to be released after it was shown in the cinema, but I have yet to see a cd of this movie. But I might just be impatient so I’ll edit this comment if I manage to find it.
Thankfully they still show new anime on tv for example Cells at Work! which is really popular right now. Hopefully the ban is limited to only showing in cinemas because if they stop even releasing cds, people here would get desperate and resort to watching it on streaming sites that won’t support the anime.
Nooooo don’t
