I am someone coming from a fluent Japanese background going into chinese and so it’s really interesting to see people going the other way that I did.
Like it’s interesting to see Gwillum reading り like you would read the pinyin ri, or that he saw か like 力 cause the katakana for か is カ which is where a lot of Japanese learners learn to associate the katakana for the kanji for power.
