Lingodeer is quite a good way to start learning a sentence. I kind of prefer learning from books, movies, and series as it gives a more native way of talking straight from the beginning. I’m alway’s interested in learning how other people learn languages ^^

Duolingo is kind of good but not for The Japanese language as you’ve noted. The kanji sometimes get spoken good, but not good in the word it will be used for in the question. However, for Latin-based languages, Duolingo is quite decent. I think the main struggle for Duolingo is with Japanese because I kind of like the Korean course on it ^^
